I was recently shopping with a friend for nothing in particular and who to put it lightly is a Chanel fragrance whore. Being more a fan of Thierry Mugler Alien and CK One ( and admittedly Britney Perfumes) I never really branch out but I tried the new one. It claimed to have a fresh, light fragrance and obviously Chanel was a classic so I gave it a go. Plus my friend had just doused herself in Chanel Chance Eau Tendre, which was quite nice. I put it on, and really liked it. Walked around with it all day, the scent lasted, in fact, it is still on my pashmina.

I think one of the reasons that I like it as it has a note of patchouli as well as white musk and citron. All of my favourite things. The thing that made this fragrance stand out more than anything was that my boyfriend said that I smelled nice. This may sound like just an offhand compliment while he rolled pizza dough but it came from a man that calls all the perfume I wear “generic girl smell” and refuses to part with cash on smelly water so I was very happy. I decided then and there that this is a possibility for my anniversary present. *Hint hint*.

So in conclusion, fresh, beautiful fragrance, boyfriend friendly, plus I felt expensive whilst wearing it.
